Many narrow gauge loco's ran a Match Truck between the loco and the train. This would be a simple truck holding any essentials the loco may need during the journey.
Our Match Truck has an Accucraft chopper on one side and a multi-height coupling on the other. This allows a chain to be connected at anything from a low Hudson skip to a high up hook on the back of a steam loco. Forget those paperclips!
Available as a kit or as a finished model, everything is included to finish (but the kit doesn’t include paint and glue).
It's re-gaugeable [is that a real word?], so it can run on 32mm or 45mm railways.
The kit isn't too hard to make (it needs a fine application of wood glue), but the small nuts and bolts are a bit fiddly.
