On the Train
Unfortunately we can t carry a wheelchair user
whilst they are in their wheelchair.
The narrow rails and low tunnels don t allow for that.
Most wheelchair users prefer the sit-aside coaches
with a friend behind for support.
Of course it depends on the individual s personal ability and needs
- and which train is in use that day.
In the very rare occurrence of the train breaking down,
it would have to be a carer s responsibility to help get them off safely.
We would help and work with the very individual circumstances.
It would always be wise to speak to the Station Master on your arrival
- I m sure you d find their experience in these matters very helpful.
